PDF Upload Guidelines
Rules & Guidelines for Uploading PDF Files
1. File Format & Size
- Only PDF files are accepted (.pdf extension)
- Maximum file size: 50 MB
- Ensure the PDF is properly formatted and readable
2. File Naming Convention
- Use descriptive file names (e.g., "Digital-Electronics-Lecture-01.pdf")
- Avoid special characters and spaces; use hyphens or underscores instead
- Keep file names concise but informative
3. Content Requirements
- Content must be relevant to the department and courses
- All materials must be original work or properly cited
- No copyrighted material without proper attribution
- Ensure content is academically appropriate
4. Document Quality
- PDFs must be clear and legible
- Use standard fonts for better readability
- Ensure images and diagrams are properly embedded
- Check for spelling and grammar before uploading
5. Metadata & Documentation
- Include title, author name, and date of creation
- Add a brief description of the document content
- Specify the course/semester it relates to
6. Copyright & Originality
- Uploaded content must not infringe on copyrights
- Give proper credits to original authors
- Use only open-source or licensed materials
- Personal notes and assignments are encouraged
7. Upload Process
- Log in with your student/faculty credentials
- Navigate to the appropriate course/semester folder
- Click "Upload" and select your PDF file
- Fill in all required metadata fields
- Review before final submission
8. Moderation & Approval
- All uploads are reviewed by the moderators
- Content review may take 24-48 hours
- Inappropriate content will be rejected
- You will receive notification once approved
